Spoiler warning: this page covers how the first ending is unlocked and the structure of the final puzzles. It does not describe the story.
The Antipode is where the main campaign comes together. Every gold room has a teleporter to it. Once enough of those teleporters are working, a puzzle opens that leads to the first credits. After that, the post-game begins.

The Antipode overworld puzzle, with the four worlds' terrain around a central star platform and gold teleporter pads at the edges. The caption on the right is from the solution video: you need at least four teleporters to the Antipode before this puzzle opens.
How to unlock the first ending
- Open gold rooms. There are six, one for each pair of worlds: HxM, HxB, HxS, MxB, MxS and SxB. See the walkthrough hub for each one.
- Collect lectern seals. Each gold room's teleporter needs seven lectern seals before it works. Seals come from solving puzzles. In Postmode's run the seventh seal for the MxS teleporter came from the final big star puzzle of Mirrors and Stones, but depending on the order you play in, your last seal can come from somewhere else.
- Activate the teleporter. Go back to the gold room and use it. Each one unlocks an Antipode achievement, and an audio log plays the first time you arrive.
- Get four teleporters working. With at least four of the six active, you can start the Antipode puzzle that leads to the first ending. You do not need all six.
Which teleporters to go for
Steam's unlock rates show which teleporters players reach first:
| Teleporter | Achievement | Steam global % | Guides |
|---|---|---|---|
| HxM | Antipode HxM | 7.9% | HxM Gold Room, Heroes and Water, Heroes and Mirrors |
| MxB | Antipode MxB | 2.1% | Reflected Beams |
| HxB | Antipode HxB | 1.9% | HxB Gold Room, Heroes and Light, Heroes and Artifacts |
| SxB | Antipode SxB | 1.9% | Torc, SxB Gold Room |
| MxS | Antipode MxS | 1.5% | MxS Gold Room, Mirrors and Stones |
| HxS | Antipode HxS | 1.0% | Heroes Together, HxS Gold Room, Heroes and Stones |
Rates as of 12 October 2026, from the official Steam achievements page. HxM is by far the most unlocked teleporter. That fits the campaign numbers: Heroes and The Mirror Isles are the two worlds the most players have finished.
The 15 Antipode puzzles
The Antipode's puzzles work through every combination of the four worlds. First each world on its own, then every pair, then every set of three, then all four together, with story segments in between. H is Heroes, M is The Mirror Isles, S is Skipping Stones and B is the Beamcasters.

A platform in the clouds between puzzles. Four symbols sit around a ring: a shield, a gem, a square split by a diagonal line and a circle.
How to use the tables: "Starts at" is the point in the solution video embedded lower on the page where that puzzle begins. "Solution length" is how long the finished solution runs in the video, which is a rough guide to how long the puzzle is. Puzzle numbers follow the video's order, which is the order the player solved them in, not a number shown in the game.

Puzzle 11 (HxMxB) mixes three worlds on one board: the heroes' courtyard, the mirror island water and the Beamcasters' desert.
After the credits
The first ending is not the end of the game. Steam lists an Endgame achievement ("Complete the Endgame", 0.9% of players) and 14 hidden achievements: Ascend, Descend, Endgame High, Endgame Low, a High achievement for each of the four worlds and a Low achievement for each of the six pairs. Players on the Steam forums describe an Endgame where you "Ascend" or "Descend". There is also Completionist, for finishing every puzzle in the overworld. Our achievements page has the full list, and How Long to Beat covers how long all of this takes.
