Order of the Sinking Star Endings and the Second Layer

Order of the Sinking Star endings guide: how the second and third endings (Antipode High and Low) and the second layer work, with every video that covers them.

Spoiler warning: this page lists where the second and third endings of Order of the Sinking Star sit and which videos cover them. It names areas and puzzle groups but does not describe the story.

Order of the Sinking Star does not stop at the first credits. After the Antipode and the first ending, creators describe a second layer of the game, with a second ending reached through the Antipode High and a third through the Antipode Low. FurySquared's video on the moment the first layer ends says it “basically made my jaw drop”, so we keep this page free of story details.

The Steam list on our achievements page also has Endgame High and Endgame Low, but no guide we found says which ending unlocks which. Guides disagree on how to label the layers, so we show each label next to the video that uses it.

The first ending by compass direction

Five Cent Guides calls the first ending's final area “Endgame” and says it is the final area of the primary ending (the Layer 1 ending). Its 15 puzzles are named by compass direction: four single directions, six pairs, four triples and a final puzzle with all four. That is the same 4, 6, 4, 1 structure as the 15 puzzles in our Antipode guide, where they are named by world. Our hub puts Heroes in the North, The Mirror Isles in the East, Skipping Stones in the South and the Vault of the Beamcasters in the West.

Every Mikan Hako episode after the first ending

What is not covered yet

We do not have a puzzle-by-puzzle page for the second layer, because the guides that exist are full playthroughs without chapter markers. When a short chaptered guide appears for an area such as Crossroads Low, we add it with the same timestamp tables as our other post-game pages: Crossroads High, Skipping and Falling, Vertical Mirror Skipping, Spinning Beams and Mirrors and Stones Advanced.
