SxB Gold Room Solution (Skipping Stones and Beamcasters)

The SxB Gold Room is where Skipping Stones to Lonely Homes and the Vault of the Beamcasters meet. You reach its platform from the Torc area, which sits south of the Vault and west of Skipping Stones. The room is solved when the Skipping Stones hero stands on her blue end node.

Getting to the platform

Finish the three Torc puzzles, then turn the beam to face right so it fires across to Skipping Stones. Step on the golden lily pad, walk into the green beam so you can phase through the wall, and follow the beam back toward its source. That drops you on the gold room platform.

Solution

1. Build the first bridge. Skip the pebbles across the water so they sink into a bridge leading to the blue gem and the tool beside it. Collect both.
2. Bring in the engineer. With the gem and tool collected the engineer returns and switches on the green beam, the one that lets heroes walk through walls.
3. Free the top left. Push the green beam up so you can get into the little walled-off area in the top left, then push it back down into the open.
4. Free the trapped pebbles. Point the green beam at the small cabana area where two pebbles are trapped. The Skipping Stones hero walks through the walls behind them and pushes both out.
5. Finish the bridge. Use the upper pebble to build the final bridge to the engineer's end point.
6. Sink the second pebble. From the square above that bridge, skip the lower pebble toward the engineer's side. It hits the brown wall and sinks into another stepping stone.
7. Line up the beam. Switch to the engineer and push the green beam down so it lines up with the sunken pebble.
8. Finish. The Skipping Stones hero walks through the walls on that row and drops down onto her blue end node.
